Oakley’s international campaign for 2020/2021 celebrated #ForTheLoveOfSport.
The brief indicated that “love” needed to be included in the headline with SA’s Rugby Captain and Oakley brand ambassador, Siya Kolisi.
Kolisi is South Africa’s first Black rugby captain and led the team to victory at the Rugby World Cup in 2019.
The headline, “Love champions all.” is a play on love reigning supreme in a nation that has historically been divided by race.
It alludes to the drive, passion and sheer love that star-athletes like Kolisi have within themselves too.
